While watching the recent Academy Awards and Golden Globes Award shows, of course I love checking out the fashions, makeup, hair and jewels. But the thing that fascinates me most is looking at the celebrities' skin. In most instances, they've been preparing for the big night by getting facials, fillers and other skincare treatments. Cate Blanchett consistently looks stunning. Her secret? It's a skincare line called SK-II.
Pitera® is the signature ingredient used in all SK-II skincare products. It's a Yeast Ferment Filtrate, containing
a proprietary blend of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and organic acids that
work together to allow the skin’s natural surface rejuvenation process
to function at its prime.
The SK-II product that Cate Blanchett first used is the Facial Treatment Essence. In the January edition of Marie Claire, she also notes that she travels with the SK-II Facial Treatment Mask.
Facial Treatment Essence is comprised of over 90% pure Pitera and is the 'heart' of
every SK-II Skincare ritual. The ritual encompasses four steps: visualize, purify, renew, and enhance.
Facial Treatment
Essence raises skin moisture levels and stimulates
the renewal of the skin's outer layer to improve texture and clarity. The result is
supple, smooth, radiant skin. Facial Treatment Essence is the core treatment for all, regardless of
age, skin condition or skin type.
I haven't tried the SK-II skincare line, so I can't comment beyond the information that is on the SK-II website. Although every time I see a picture of Cate Blanchett, I'm a little more motivated to seek this line out!
SK-II skincare products are available at select Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales locations. You can get more information on the SK-II line at www.sk-ii.com. Have you tried this skincare line? Let me know in the comments.
