Winter Sale at Stila

Stila, one of my favorite cosmetics lines, has started their Winter Sale.  This is a great opportunity to stock up and save.  I'll share a few of my picks.  First, the deluxe folding palette in Pink.  This versatile palette is 50% off at $18.00 and contains 4 eyeshadows, a cheek color, lip color, a gloss and 3 brushes.  The cost for 1 shadow alone?  $18.00.  Phenomenal buy! The Stila Stars Set, is half off at $30.00.  This neutral collection also features classic eyeshadow shades, a cheek color, a lip color and glaze, mascara and shimmer.  There are lip glazes for $10.  Lastly, I had to order the brush roll, that was on sale for half-off.  I use Stila brushes and never got around to getting the brush roll.  So, now I can keep those brushes organized and in one place.  Stila Winter Sale....we like it!

Lush: Clean Slate '08

Since this is the first week of the new year, "cleaning the slate", so to speak is top of mind.  One way to do that is to shop the Lush website, where they are clearing out inventory made before December 1st with a Clean Up Sale.  It's the kind of sale we like...a buy one get one free (see details at the website).  Lush products are handmade, fresh (hence the expiration dates) and natural.  Since I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around, I think the Karma Kream will go in my basket.  As will the Lemony Flutter, an emollient cuticle treatment, which was on a few of the Favorite Things Lists that were posted.  And don't forget the Buffy, an exfoliating body butter, perfect for removing the rough, dry skin of winter.
