CND, runway trend
expert and leader in professional hand and foot beauty, introduces a
dazzling, customizable nail colour concept – Colour & Effects. Based on a concept similar to what you do in fashion--mix, match and layer, CND’s Colour & Effects Collection creates endless possibilities.
A full spectrum palette of 50 new crème nail colours includes sheer, semi-sheer and opaque neutrals, pinks, darks and brights from the whitest white (Brilliant White) to the blackest black (Blackjack). No wardrobe is complete without a few metallic accessories. A selection of 3 must-have chromes round out the Colour range.
Colours are complemented by 15 tantalizing Effects, providing endless possibilities to style your favorite look. Effects come in sheer hues of three categories – Pearl, Shimmer, and Sparkle – which can be layered over or under the crème polish in order to achieve any desired look. The introduction of Super Matte Top Coat to CND’s award-winning CND treatments now allows you to create every texture; from the glossiest pedicure to the most modern matte finish manicure.
Jan Arnold, CND co-founder and style director explains, “Nail Colour conformity is a thing of the past. Our new Colour line provides a mesmerizing combination of options for women to stylize their most natural fashion accessory, their nails.”
The CND Colour &
Effects Collection will be available in top salons and spas in late fall 2009.
Suggested retail price for Colour is $9.00 a bottle; for Effects $11.00
a bottle, for base and top coats $8.00 a bottle. For more information

The eyeshadow used was Vex and Scene, which was blended over the eyelids, up past the crease and along the lower lashline to create a gray wash on the lids. Print eyeshadow was then applied gently over the grey shadow to give a bluish tint. Eyes were lined with Blacktrack Fluidline and extended past the outer corner of the eye. Another thin black line created by following the arch of the brow bone above the crease of the lid. This was repeated on the lower lashline.
